So far, the new book has reached a little further. Of course it is on Amazon but also on Barnes & Noble, and all of my books are now on Walmart and Books-A-Million as well. I have fond memories of BAM with my writing partner when my flight got delayed, stranding me in Dallas. That annoying, frustrating, terrible thing turned into a wonderful thing actually. So, you never know. Perhaps that is fitting as I'm not sure if this launch pans out either, but I remain hopeful and open minded.

Early reviews are very positive. I even received reviews from some top reviewers, #3, #10 and #11, across the Goodreads website. However, the sales have been pretty slow, if I can be honest. I donated to a couple more charities in the meantime and even did a photo shoot. In the most recent author photos and promo pics, it seems maybe I am starting to look, feel and play the part of successful author after all.

As a last note for now, I'm happy to be getting back to straight writing again soon. I have the spin-off in progress. But I am mostly excited to start the next standalone novel, which is another horror novel. This is the big month so I must remain focused. Halloween is right around the corner, just along the horizon. That was kind of the spark and finishing line that I planned on. Cross my fingers. Cross my heart.
