Where to begin? A lot of updates. First off, the new book has definitely reached further into international retailers, from UK to Australia, Sweden, Germany, India, to South Korea, and even a few local online bookstores, which is surprising. I did a Goodreads Giveaway that more than doubled my last two giveaway results, gaining more followers and seeing some boosts in sales. I did one promotion that included a social media blast and the first editorial review of SMILING FACELESS WOMAN, which was a glowing review. Not long after that, the second editorial review of SMILING FACELESS WOMAN was a 5-star review from a prestigious outlet, Readers' Favorite, and I'm happy to announce it got its first official award nomination.
All of that is going on, but my back catalogue still has life left in it as well. WASHINGTON received a new positive editorial review, was quickly nominated for and won a new book award. I did an interview for that site. I also did my first press release to 400+ outlets including newspapers, magazines, radio stations and websites such as Associated Press and The Globe and Mail.
Funny enough, my mind is actually preoccupied with coming projects. I did an extensive interview with a preacher, so the last big research for the new book is now complete. The subject matter ties into the spin-off I have been working on too, so I feel about ready to wrap one up and begin another. It feels like my brain is just overflowing with excitement for everything in the pipeline to come.
