Well, it's been about a three-month delay since I first got everything lined up to start submitting work to agents. Not that everything is right in the world yet, far from it, but I felt it was right enough to try at least. I've officially sent my first batch of query letters to agents and agencies. It's, uh, a pretty scary thing, to be honest... I suppose what drove me to just go for it after a while was there's never gonna be a perfect moment per se. There's always a reason not to. How many people have come so far as to complete a manuscript, show it around and get feedback, implement that feedback, and even try to get published? That in itself is already an honor and a privilege. It's been a long few years to get here, but I can say with full confidence I feel like I'm finally a real writer.
