I recently moved so now I have a whole office and workout space to myself, which is nice. I finally get to use the desk I bought years ago and these RGB lights. It was getting pretty cramped in that one bedroom apartment. I sent my last query letters out, one of them while on vacation to Oregon/Washington/Canada. We shall see what happens. It seems like the last string of rejection letters have been fairly positive. While on vacay, I went to the infamous Powell's City of Books. I'll have to go back one day, and just peruse and peruse. That was so incredible. I happened across an old, rare, banned, out-of-print collection from Stephen King, and snatched it. Very cool.

On the flip side, sadly, my books are no longer available on Barnes & Noble. At least I was in their system for a good couple of years. I also had to shift my new lineup. There are projects I have on back burner, some I have abandoned. A big thing to me right now is "brand" and "genre" as I start to get established. All of this takes an insane amount of time, money and energy so I have to carefully select whatever has the best quality and best potential. In essence, I'll try to stick to the suspense thriller genre, and focus on standalone novels, series installments and story collections.

Last but definitely not least, I am happy to announce I am officially an award finalist and award winner. I have pretty much pushed WASHINGTON as far as I can push it with this final accomplishment. I will continue to promote it regularly but it is time for the next chapter, the new book. Cross my fingers~
