Keep Calm and Query On

I'll say, it's been a lot harder than I ever thought it could be. Something about a rejection letter just hurts, and the lack of response is even worse. Then again, something about a rejection letter is kinda cool, too. Like, we just "knocked on the door." We're so close. We just need to knock on the right door. If the right person at the right time could hear it with the right ears, read it with the right eyes, then give it a chance to fall into the right hands, in just the right way... I do believe this can happen, that I have what it takes. I do believe there is a magic in this story, in this book not yet published. I'll just keep trying, I guess, walking by faith down this tightrope, against the wind.

Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming.
