Eye on the Market, Eye of the Storm

It's now been several weeks but I remain vigilant. I had a great conference call with my writing partner as well as one of my beta readers, and have gotten strong feedback on the manuscript. I'm closely watching New York as it is the publishing capital and patiently waiting for the best chance to officially start querying--hopefully soon, maybe by the end of the month. I've been checking book deals weekly and it seems like the world of books continues on. In fact, the demand for books might be stronger than ever, and I intend to ride that wave should I be so lucky. I think I've finalized my list of agents and agencies, so it's just about priority now and timing. I started my next project, the spin-off, which is exciting. Other than that, I really just been doing a lot of internal thinking. Like, what is it this all means to me, and how badly do I want and need this... I think I have those answers.
