Sorry to say, I've been really stretched thin these past couple months. As I try to work on expanding my "brand" and my "platform," I'm now branching out into videos on YouTube, which is very difficult. The time and energy that it takes to record, transfer, edit, upload, then post and promote... Now, that said, I am enjoying myself, and I do believe it's worth it. I think it can give me a competitive and creative edge. So, it's tough trying to balance all of the things I'm working on: writing, writing related tasks, social media, videos now. But I think it has potential.

I feel recently that I'm hitting the limit of what I can do on my own. I've sent every query letter out to all of the agents and agencies I'm interested in. Just playing the waiting game now. We shall see. Either we get lucky, and we get a little help with some of these things, like content editing and type setting and formatting, like book covers, like advice--or hell, we are on our own, in which this is probably it, pretty much the routine for me. I'll just have to hustle in this kind of crunch mode, continually. And, well, I guess I'm willing and able to do that. Not deterred but rather determined. I'm either going to make it through, or I'm gonna do this the long and hard way.
